Pay Links: Share & Revoke
Copy a per-invoice pay link, share it on WhatsApp or email, and revoke it when you need to — plus what a revoked or expired link looks like to your customer.
Every invoice has its own secure pay link (.../pay/{token}). Share it however suits you — WhatsApp, email, SMS or a copy-paste — and revoke it any time. The pay page behind the link always reflects the invoice's current status.
Copy and share a pay link
- 1Open the Invoices tab and find the invoice you want to share.
- 2Use Copy pay link to put the secure link on your clipboard.
- 3Paste it into WhatsApp, email or anywhere you talk to your customer.
Revoke a pay link
If you sent a link by mistake, need to reissue an invoice, or simply want to stop accepting payment on it, you can revoke the pay link. Once revoked, the link no longer shows any invoice details or ways to pay.
How a revoked or expired link looks
When a customer opens a link that's been revoked or has expired, the page heading reads "Cannot load this payment link" in red, with a friendly explanation that the link is no longer available. Crucially, none of your invoice or payment details are exposed.
| Link state | Customer experience |
|---|---|
| Active | Full pay page with the invoice and every way to pay. |
| Revoked | A clear message that the link has been turned off — no details shown. |
| Expired | A clear message that the link is no longer valid — no details shown. |
